About Rotary

Rotary is a worldwide organization of more than 1.2 million business, professional, and community leaders. Members of Rotary clubs, known as Rotarians, provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and help build goodwill and peace in the world.

There are over 32,000 Rotary clubs in more than 200 countries and geographical areas. Clubs are nonpolitical, nonreligious, and open to all cultures, races, and creeds. As signified by the motto Service Above Self, Rotary’s main objective is service — in the community, in the workplace, and throughout the world.

About Rotary Locally

The Fargo-Moorhead Rotary Clubs (Fargo, Fargo West, FM AM, and Moorhead) work on individual club projects and joint project that benefit the Fargo-Moorhead area, the United States and countries around the world. Exchange students are sponsored, parks are built (local), zoo's are expanded, shelters are stocked with food and necessities, scholarships are funded, schools and computer labs are built, medical clinics, water projects and orphanages updated in foreign countries and all are done with the spirit of Rotary.

The Four Way Test -- Of what we think, say and do

1. Is it the truth?
2. Is it fair to all concerned?
3. Will it build goodwill and better friendships?
4. Will it be beneficial to all concerned?
