About membership
Rotarians should be involved in business or be community leaders. Generally, only five people in each classification of business can become a Rotarian: e.g. commercial printer, architect etc.
Participation
Rotarians must attend 60% of meetings to remain in good standing. They may make up meetings at any Rotary club throughout the world or by participating in a project that Rotary Sponsors. Members should plan to attend at least 30% of meetings in their hometown. Rotarians should participate in one or more committees within their club.
What does Rotary offer me?
Rotary offers you a chance to provide direct service to your community, meet other Rotarians who may one day require the business that you provide, make new friends throughout the community and learn more about community events through the nearly 52 weekly programs presented at each club.
Dues
Each Rotary Club charges dues that help cover the expense of meetings, activities and Rotary International dues. Other fees are charged for various events through the year.
